A weeklong trip from Seattle up to the Gulf Islands of Canada, just north of the San Juan Islands and east of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. On the way north, Andy stopped in Port Hadlock on the Olympic Peninsula, and then was joined by Alix in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. We then island-hopped, visiting Bedwell Harbor on South Pendar, Port Browning on North Pendar, Montague Harbor on Galiano, and then Portland Island -- also known as Princess Margaret Marine Park. We returned south via Friday Harbor on San Juan Island and Kingston Harbor in Puget Sound. Along the way we encountered sea lions, otters, eagles, porpoises, harbor seals, and, finally orcas just as we were arriving back in Seattle.
